A sustainable city starts with a building block

A Holistic Eco-Friendly Building Block
Inspired by nature, Sukariblock:
Coral reefs absorb carbon dioxide to create strong carbon buildingblocks that constitutes the sea floor. The strength and durability of the coral reef is built with minimal energy while providing healthy environmental conditions.
Sukariblock is built with biochar and flyash that are readily available and have a much lower carbon footprint.
Between a lemon's internal fruit body and the external waxy hydrophobic layer, a thick light spongy layer protects the fruit from external threats of which temperature variation.
Sukariblock adopts having a thermal insulation layer integrated inside each block and a hydrophoc external layer to protect it from humidity.
Lizards skin structure is designed to, condense humidity, repel and redirect water through its hydrophobic ondulated skin texture. Using that strategy, it aquires drinking water.
Sukariblock's surface coating uses the same strategy of a texture that repels and redirects water, to make fresh rainwater harvesting easier.
Hermit crabs remove and replace their shells fluidly based on their emerging new needs. They use readily available shells hence optimizing energy efficiency and reuse.
Sukariblock is designed for disassembly to allow the block to be built, disassembled and reused in another bulding. Creating mechanical adhesion allows the easy removal of blocks without having to break them and that elongates their life-cycle.
